Drug Alert: Immediate recall of batches of counterfeit Plavix Tablets 75mg Film Coated Tablets

Counterfeit batches of the medication Plavix (Clopidrogel) have been discovered in the UK supply chain. The counterfeit products do not contain the full amount of active ingredient and may contain harmful degradants. The Medicine and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency [MHRA] and pharmaceutical manufacturer sanofi-aventis are recalling the batches.
